Who We Are Looking For

Sigma Equity Partners is seeking an Equity Syndication Partner to help us drive capital formation and strengthen our investor network. This is a success-based, carry-only opportunity — designed for someone with an existing investor network who wants upside participation. We’re looking for someone who shares our vision, brings strong investor relationships, and is excited to help shape the capital strategy of a high-conviction early-stage VC.

Responsibilities

Capital Sourcing: Leverage your network (family offices, HNWIs, micro-VCs, institutional LPs, and syndicates) to drive soft and hard commitments across our active and future funds.
Investor Relations: Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective LPs; clearly communicate Sigma’s investment thesis, progress, and long-term vision.
Business Development: Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner to identify co-investment, syndication, and partnership opportunities.
Fundraising Strategy: Help design and execute the fundraising process — including materials, outreach, and relationship management.
Thought Leadership: Represent Sigma at industry events, panels, and publications, helping elevate the firm’s visibility and credibility in the venture ecosystem.

Qualifications

Proven track record in capital raising, investor relations, or syndication within VC, PE, investment banking, or related fields.
Strong, active network of relationships among LPs, asset allocators, family offices, or institutional investors.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Passion for startups, innovation, and driving early-stage growth.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, emerging manager environment.
Comfortable working independently and remotely.

Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
5–10+ years in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or capital markets.
Demonstrated experience raising capital, structuring deals, or managing LP relationships.
